Madison Square Garden can seat 20,000 people for a concert. This blog was viewed about 62,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Madison Square Garden, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Owl Love You Valentine’s Day Card

For this next Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge we have an inspiration challenge.  See the bird photo below and see what your inspired to create.  I created a Valentine’s day card with the Owl builder punch.

A Motorcycle Birthday!

For this week we have a fun sketch challenge.  Pressed for time because of the holidays I created this card with My Digital Studio.  I love the Mocha Morning Designer Series digital paper.  The Crumb Cake and Early Espresso colors make this a very masculine card

Monstermaniacs Valentine card

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a color challenge and I was so excited to use the Monstermaniacs stamp set given to me by my upline Erin.  This was the first time I used this versatile stamp set.

Since Valentine’s day is coming up I created this card for the occasion. I used a blender pen to color the image of the monster and used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to go over the spots on the monster.  This was a quick and easy card to make.

Snowflakes make a Festive Flurry

The next Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a sketch challenge.  I loved how this sketch challenged me think outside my comfort zone.  I used the Festive Flurry Bundle and the Northern Flurry Textured Embossing folder to create the card below.  I stamped the snowflake with Versamark and Indigo Blue on Vellum card stock then heat embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for shimmer and die cut it.  The snowflake is adhered to another layer of Vellum I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

To add extra sparkle to the background I used Silver Dazzling Details on the embossed snowflakes.

Thinlits Label Love card

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a color challenge with the colors of Soft Sky, Crisp Cantaloupe, Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake.  I used the Label Card Thinlits die to create my Love card.  It’s fast and easy to create this flip or swing card and of course you not only get the die to create card but you also get other die cuts to decorate your card.  To see both Thinlit dies click here.

Truly Grateful

Thanksgiving is almost here and it is not the only time to be thankful.  Everyday is a gift and everyday we should appreciate all that is good in our lives.  Stampin’ Up!’s Truly Grateful stamp set has inspired me to create these cards to say Happy Thanksgiving and Thank you.

The first card I CASE’d from the  Stampin’ Success magazine.  The background is stamped with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig then stamped with the Truly Grateful background and embossed with gold embossing powder  The Pumpkin Pie banner is layered with a hand cut arrow shape banner and stamped with the lines stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  The sentiment is from the Tags 4 You set.  All the layers are layered with Early Espresso twine.  Such an easy card!

For this other card I used the Expressions Thinlits Dies.  To ensure you can remove the ‘thankful’ from the framelit use two sheets of wax paper between the framelit and the cardstock.  I stamped the wood background in crushed curry then stamped the wheat stalks in Versamark and heat embossed with Early Espresso.  To get the very cool ink splatters I used the Gorgeous Grunge set and Early Espresso ink.  I then added Early Espresso candy dots on the top right.  Another easy to make card.

My Digital Studio Christmas Card

Lately I’ve been creating on My Digital Studio and for this week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments I have created this Christmas Card.

Happy Halloween My Digital Studio Card

For this week’s challenge I decided to play with My Digital Studio to create a Halloween card.  The colors were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Tangerine Tango, Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green and Basic Black.  Don’t these colors just scream HALLOWEEN!  It was so much fun using the coloring tool to add different colors to the digital stamp images.  If you haven’t tried digital crafting, download the free trial version of MDS here.  You can create cards, scrap book pages and books, journals and whatever your paper crafting mind can conjure.
