Fall is here and the days are cooler! What do you like best about fall? The pumpkins or the leaves?
My card this week is a 4″ x 4″ card CASED from the current mini catalog. The card base is Mango Melody. The Rustic Harvest DSP paper strips I adhered to Basic White card stock. I die cut the pumpkins from Pumpkin Pie and the sentiment from Basic Black. The large brown kraft leaf is from the Rustic Harvest suite. There are 25 leaf labels and 50 amber gems in the package. I stamped the leaf with Early Espresso and the decorative flourish stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set. I finished the card by embellishing with the amber gems and Simply Elegant gold trim.
My card this week is inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge. The images are perfect for this time of year. For this challenge the Celebrate with Sunflowers and Sunflower dies were perfect.
Since the sunflower is round I decided to make an easel card. I haven’t made one in a while and thought to make a circle easel card.
I stamped the sunflower with Memento Black on Daffodil Delight card stock. I then used Stampin’ Blends Mango Melody light and dark, Daffodil Delight dark, Calypso Coral light, Crumb Cake light and dark to color the sunflower. I used Patty Bennet’s tutorial for coloring the sunflower.
The base of the easel card is Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight and Basic White. I used the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder to emboss the Basic White and Daffodil Delight. I used the Forever Flourishing dies to die cut the foliage in Shaded Spruce. I used the Sunflower dies to die cut the sunflower and the gold foliage. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and die cut using the Label Me Fancy punch.. I embellished with the Amber Gems. I also used Wink of Stella on the sunflower. This card was a very easy card to make.
This week my card was inspired by the Inspiration Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. With temperatures of 100 degrees almost every day it’s easy to day dream of a trip to the mountains to experience cooler weather. Like most crafters I have materials and in this case Paper Pumpkin kits I haven’t used but meant to. The inspiration images from Hand Stamped Sentiments looks like a Hallmark Christmas movie. I don’t yet have the Sale-a-Bration Tree Lot dies which are free with a $100 purchase from Stampin’ Up!, but oh wait I do have a die cut of a camper from the July 2021 Paper Pumpkin. I know it’s not a current kit however you can subscribe to Paper Pumpkin to receive a monthly kit to create quick cute cards. The cool thing about these kits is you receive EVERYTHING you need to create the cards. LOVE IT! You can put them together using the included instruction or you can create cards of your own design. These are great to take on a trip and be crafty. In my case I was able to create a Christmas card with a cute camper.
I created my card as a Christmas card to go along with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge so I used the pieces from the kit and added gold ribbon and Red Rhinestones and clear rhinestones colored with Stampin’ Blends Shaded Spruce and Night of Navy. The sentiment is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set. This set is has many great sentiments for Christmas cards.
My card this week was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiment Inspiration challenge and helpful neighbors. My husband and I are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors. This past weekend our neighbor helped with replacing our patio fan. It really needed to be replaced. We were prepared to call a handy man to replace it but they were here a couple of weeks ago and offered to help in replacing it. I ordered the fan and our neighbor came over to take down the old fan and install the new one. The Inspiration Challenge at HSS has such wonderful outdoor images. The trees inspired me to use my Beauty of Friendship stamp set and Beautiful Trees dies. It’s a one layer card I CASED from Anna Helman. I stamped the trees on to Sahara Sand with Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce. The strip of foliage I stamped with the different greens and Crushed Curry and combined with an embossed strip of Crumb Cake. I used the Timber 3D Embossing folder. Then sentiment I stamped with Shaded Spruce on Basic White then die cut with the rectangle from the Beautiful Trees dies and layered with a layer die cut with the Elegant Tag punch. I embellished the tag with linen thread and Parakeet Party Metallic Woven ribbon.

Inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge and by Cindy Bee’s daffodil faux center step card. I had not had the opportunity to ink up the Daffodil Daydream stamp and die bundle and was inspired by Cindy Bee’s card. I used the dies to create a daffodil and cut-out the daffodils to create an Easter card. I also used the Daffodil paper from Sale-a-bration.

My card this week was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge and by StampinJo.com‘s card with the Friendly Hello Bundle. I CASED her card and used Pool Party and birds as my inspiration from Hand Stamped Sentiments. The background layer was embossed with the Textured Textile Embossing Folder. The next layer I die cut DSP from the Friendly Hello bundle with the largest rectangle in the Scalloped Contours Die. The next layer is cut from Brushed Gold Foil. The next layer is die cut from the stitched rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Die set. I then stamped the bird and flowers from the Friendly Hello die stamp set and colored with the Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Blend Pens. I then fussy cut it and adhered with dimensionals. I then stamped the splatter stamp from the Friendly Hello set with Memento black. I embellished with retired Daffodil Delight ribbon, Brushed Brass Butterflies and Basic Rhinestones.

This week’s inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is full of wonderful summer images. I was inspired by the dragonfly and the sunflowers images. I created my card using the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and dsp papers from the Harvest Meadow DSP collection. I made a tag and punched a hole with a regular hole punch using the Bumbleee Harvest Meadow dsp and Basic White card stock. I stamped the Basic White tag with the flower image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. The large dragonfly was stamped with black Momento and die cut with the Dragonflies punch as well as the smaller dragonflies from Misty Moonlight and Cajun Craze card stock. The large dragon fly was colored using the Balmy Blue Blends and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write marker. I embellished with Wink of Stella on the flowers and large dragonfly and finished with Linen Thread and Brushed Metallic Adhesive dots. Super easy card to make.

I was inspired this week by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge to create a triangle fold card with the June 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit coordinates with the Expressions in Ink bundle which is on my wish list. However, not having the bundle nor the DSP inspired me to create my version of the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper. One side of the paper has beautiful water color images with foil. This is the side I recreated using Gilded Leafing, Versamark and Heat and Stick powder.
Evergreen as my card base. For the triangle layers I used Just Jade and retired Purple Posy. I meant to use Fresh Freesia but somehow managed to select retired Purple Posy from my paper file. Oh well I still think it turned out like I wanted. On the Just Jade triangle layer I stamped the watercolor image in Evening Evergreen. Some images I stamped at full strength and some I stamped off to create texture in the watercolor image. For the Purple Posy I stamped the watercolor image in Fresh Freesia using the same technique of stamping full strength then stamping off. I then used the Versamark pen to outline some of the watercolor images then used Heat and Stick powder to adhere the Gilded Leafing.

Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Triangle Fold Card
I used the die cut foliage from the kit and a die from the Tasteful Labels set to stamp the flower image from the Paper Pumpkin kit in Versamark and heat emboss with gold. I then colored the flower with Polished Pink and the leaves with Just Jade using a blender pen. I adhered the die cut foliage to the die cut label and finished with a bow in Soft Succulent. The inside of the card I used the birthday sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set an stamped the flowers from the images from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I also used the flower images to stamp on the envelope with Polished Pink.
The card I created is inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration images convey spring and have many shades of tulips. I had not yet used the Timeless Tulips stamp set and builder punch so I created a mother’s day card for my dear aunt. She loves tulips so this would be the perfect stamp set to create a card for her.
The patterned layer is new from the In-Colors 2021 – 2023 dsp in Polished pink. The white layer is embossed with the retired Pinewood Planks embossing folder then die cut with the largest rectangle scalloped die from the Scalloped Contours die set. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips set, stamped in Pear Pizzazz then die cut with the smallest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours. The large tulip was stamped in Daffodil Delight then die cut with the Tulips builder punch as well as the large leaf stamped in Pear Pizzazz. The smaller tulip was stamped in Polished Pink. I love this color then fussy cut as well as other leaves I stamped with Pear Pizzazz. This card was super easy to put together. I hope all moms and women that do the work of moms are appreciated no only on mother’s day but throughout the year.
