A Cottage Rose Birthday

My card this week is inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge. Such beautiful colors and images. I have to say this Cottage Rose stamp sets is one I have not used. I used the colors off Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green to create my card.

I used Polished Pink Stampin’ Bends to color the flowers and Granny Apple Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves. I used Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends for the flower centers. The background I water colored with Polished Pink then splattered with polished pink using a water color brush. The strips of designer series paper are from the Awash in Beauty. I used 3 of the retired Polished Pink Gems.

Be inspired by the wonderful image at Hand Stamped Sentiments an see what the design team has created.

Friend Framed Florets Card

With spring around the corner and inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Fresh Freesia, Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue I created this card with the Framed Florets bundle.

I love the color Fresh Freesia and sad it will be retiring soon. I cased this card from page 65 of the mini catalog. These inspiration colors together were perfect for creating a card with Framed Florets bundle. The card base is Fresh Freesia card stock and stamped the background with Fresh Freesia. I used the gold metallic paper for the frame and added Wink of Stella to the flowers. The inside oval I die cut from Shimmer White and water-colored with Fresh Freesia. The sentiment is stamped in black StazOn.

Thinking of you Seaside Bay Card

Inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Old Olive I created this card with the Seaside Bay Suite. The card base is Balm Blue and the patterned layer is from the By the Bay 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.

Love the clam shell die which I embossed with gold embossing powder. The Balmy Blue an White ribbon behind the clam shell is also from the suite. I also used gold cording to embellish. The sentiment, grass and shell are also from the suite. Inside the clam shell I added a flat adhesive backed pearl for a surprise.

Adorable Owls and Dainty Flowers

I have just now gotten a chance to play with my new Sale-a-bration products – Adorable Owls stamp set and Dainty Flowers DSP. Both these products are a FREE during Sale-a-bration which ends February 28, 2023. You earn one FREE item with $50 purchase. I was inspired to create this card with the sketch challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.

I used the beautiful watercolor design of the Dainty Flowers DSP for the background and used the flying owl image. I colored the owl with Mossy Meadow light and dark and Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the owl image on Basic White with Memento Black ink. The stitched circle is from retired dies Stitched Shapes Framelits which you can substitute the Stylish Shapes Dies or the Layering Circles with no stitch both these die sets currently in the annual catalog. The Fresh Freesia outer circle was die cut with Layering Circles. I embellished with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon and the Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots. The owl images in this Adorable Owls stamp set are so cute and fun to color.

A Texture Chic Birthday

Love is in the air with Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. I love the colors and images of their inspiration image. I was inspired by the heart shape. I couldn’t resist creating another card with the Texture Chic Suite. I started with a Basic White card stock and used retired Stampin’ Up Hearts Framilits to create the heart shape card.

I then cut another heart from the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the card. The rest of the die cuts I used the Chic dies. The waffle background I die cut from the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. I also die cut the flower outline out of the gold foil and die cut the inner part of the flower from Vellum. The other flowers are die cut from Basic White. The greeting is stamped with Early Espresso and die cut using the retired Artisan Label punch I embellished with a small Brushed Brass Butterfly and retired metallic gold edge petal pink ribbon.

The swoosh image is from the Season of Chic and stamped with Petal Pink ink and the greeting is stamped in Early Espresso and is from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set.

Thinking of You with Season of Chic

Happy 2023! Hand Stamped Sentiments is back with a color challenge of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Mango Melody. Love these colors together which inspired me to create a card using the Season of Chic bundle and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

This Season of Chic bundle is versatile for making many types of cards for all seasons. Hence the name Season Chic. I created this thinking of you card using the seashells.

I embossed the Pool Party layer with the Time Worn Type Embossing Folder. I then die cut the netting using the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. followed by stamping the shells with Mango Melody and Petal Pink on Basic White then die cutting. I also die cut the shells and leaves from Petal Pink paper. The front shell I die cut two shells the rim in Pool Party and the inside from Basic White then water-colored in Pool Party. The leaves on the right side of the card I die cut from Mango Melody. The small shell on the left side I die cut from the Distressed Gold. The sentiment I heat embossed in gold then embellished and die cut using the Tailor Made Tag dies then embellished with gold Elegant Trim. The rest of the card is embellished with Sold Faceted Gems.

A Wish for a Happy New Year

This week’s sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments inspired my card this week. No stamping just die cutting.

The gold paper is from the Gold & Rose 6″ x 6″ Metallic Specialty Paper pack. I embellished with basic rhinestones and gold cording from the Simply Elegant pack. This card came together very easy!

A Fitting Florets Christmas Card

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge of Cherry Cobble, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. These colors are perfect for Christmas cards so I decided to create a Christmas card with the Fitting Florets Collection.

There are two stamp sets, dies, paper and embellishments in Fitting Florets collection. I used the Soft Succulent as my card base then used a Cherry Cobbler layer followed by the DSP. I colored the berries on the DSP with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ blends. For the frame and sprigs I die cut using the Bough Punch and Fitting Florests die from the frame out of the Distressed Gold paper. I love how the gold looks antiqued. The greeting I heat embossed with gold then colored the buds on the sprigs with Cherry Cobble blends. For embellishing I added a bow of retired 1/2″ Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and retired Cherry Cobbler rhinestones from the Holiday Basic Jewels.
