Friendly Hello Birthday Card

My card this week was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge and by StampinJo.com‘s card with the Friendly Hello Bundle. I CASED her card and used Pool Party and birds as my inspiration from Hand Stamped Sentiments. The background layer was embossed with the Textured Textile Embossing Folder. The next layer I die cut DSP from the Friendly Hello bundle with the largest rectangle in the Scalloped Contours Die. The next layer is cut from Brushed Gold Foil. The next layer is die cut from the stitched rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Die set. I then stamped the bird and flowers from the Friendly Hello die stamp set and colored with the Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Blend Pens. I then fussy cut it and adhered with dimensionals. I then stamped the splatter stamp from the Friendly Hello set with Memento black. I embellished with retired Daffodil Delight ribbon, Brushed Brass Butterflies and Basic Rhinestones.

Parisian Beauty You’re the Joy of my Life

The Parisian Beauty bundle is one of the bundles featured in the mini catalog.  I love this bundle because of the images.  So perfect for those of us that love all things French.  The card I created is inspired by the sketch at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

I used the Pool Party as the card base then die cut Petal Pink with the Stitched Rectangle dies then embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing folder.  The Parisian dies were used to die cut the Eiffel Tower which was stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with Shimmery Black then die cut.  The flourish die cut is also die cut from the Parisian dies. The flowers were fussy cut from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty paper. Love this paper with Champagne foil touches.  The sentiment was stamped on Petal Pink Vellum using a sentiment from the Parisian Beauty stamp set.  Sad to say the Parisian bundle and dsp are retiring.

Happy Birthday with some Lemon Zest

I have just now had the opportunity to play with the Lemon Zest bundle and my card was inspired by the Inspiration Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments and a card create by Crafty Little Peach Stamper.

I stamped the citrus images on watercolor paper then sponged the darker color.  I love the dreamy effect of the water coloring of the citrus images then die cut with the 1-3/8″ circle punch and embellished with Lemon Twist grograin ribbon and Bermuda Bay sequins and rhinestones.

Black and Pink Corset Card

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge inspired me to create these corset cards.  I hadn’t made these in a long time and have dry embossed them.  These versions I decided to heat emboss with two different floral patterns.  Which one do you prefer?  The small or large floral?

I used the large flower stamp from the Beautiful Day stamp set to emboss the corset then heat embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder.  For the small floral design I used the small flower from the Rose Wonder stamp set.

Daisy Delight Birthday Card

The card I created this week was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge and new product from the Stampin’ Up catalog.  I’m so in love with the Daisy Delight Bundle!  I created this birthday card using the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and the Daisy Delight Bundle.  I stamped the daisies with Daffodil Delight ink on Daffodil Delight card stock.  For the centers I inked with Versamark a strip of Daffodil Delight and heat embossed with retired Early Espresso embossing powder mixed with retired Iridescent Embossing Powder then punched with 1/2″ circle punch.  The leaves were die cut using the retired Little Leaves Sizzlits and leaves from the Flourish and Rose Garden Thinlets.  The sentiment is from the the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set with the end die cut with the Duo Banner Punch.

You’re So Sweet

My popsicle card was inspired by the inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I used So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzaz to create this cool treat.  I decided to use many items from my stash that are retired but there are so many color possibilities and embellishments you can use from your stash to create this card.

Falling in Love Suite Sympathy Card

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is an Inspiration Challenge.  Spring is the inspiration and my card was inspired by the colors of spring which are perfect for the sympathy card I had in mind.  I CASED the card from the Occasions Catalog.  The DSP and doily give this card a special touch. The doily is white on one side and ivory on the other.  I used the white side to contrast with the Very Vanilla sentiment layer.   I used paper from the Falling in Love DSP collection.  The bokeh blurred pattern on the paper are soft and pretty.  I layered vellum underneath the lace doily.  The sentiment is stamped with Soft Sky and Crumb Cake and is from the Rose Wonder stamp set.  I die cut it with the Decorative Label punch and framed with Soft Sky.  The card is embellished with basic pearls.  Super easy card to make!

Home Sweet Home

As promised here’s another little house I created with the Sweet Home Bundle.  The bundle consists of the Sweet Home stamp set and Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies.  This house was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim.

Home Sweet Home Haunted House

To celebrate Halloween  I created this little haunted house with the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Home Bundle.  The bundle consists of the Sweet Home stamp set and Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies.  I love you can make treat boxes or cards.
