Blossom Builder Punch are Shells on a Beach

My card this week is inspired by Lynda at Understanding Blue.  I have CASED her card to create this sympathy card.  She has a great tutorial on how to create this card.  I wish my sand would not have turned out so dark but I think on my next try I’ll try a lighter brown.  I still like the effect of the watercolor technique.

Hello Foxy!

My card this week is inspired by a fox I’ve been seeing in some woods by my house and by Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.  I finally played with the Foxy Friends stamp set and coordinating Fox Builder punch.  The background I embossed with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder then colored the embossed trees with clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  The wood layer strip is from the Wood Textures DSP paper stack then layered with 1/4″ Copper Trim ribbon.

The cute fox I stamped in Cajun Craze and used the Fox Builder punch to die cut the head, body and tail.  The stump and outline banner was stamped in Early Espresso.  The ‘hello’ greeting is from the Eastern Beauty set and stamped in Old Olive and die cut with the Duet Banner punch.

Congratulations with Butterflies

I created this graduation card with the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits.  I first created the watercolor background on watercolor paper with Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette.  I first wet watercolor paper and used a brush to add spots of the different colors then kept spritzing with water to run the colors.  After drying with the heat tool i die cut the butterflies using the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits dies.

The Whisper White card stock was embossed with the Softly Falling textured embossing folder.  I used a small brush to splatter Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette to the background.

The sentiment was stamped using the Thoughtful Banners and the Duet Banner punch.  I added sparkle to the card with Basic Rhinestones.

A Daisy Delight Birthday!

I just received my Stampin’ Up! catalog pre-order!  Included was the Daisy Delight bundle.  The bundle includes the Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy punch.  You too will be able to order this bundle starting June 1st.

I created this birthday card for the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party.

This card was fast and easy.  I stamped the daisies then punched them out with the daisy punch.  I punched out two daisies to make one full one.

Peekaboo peach, Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Daisy Delight bundle, daisy card, birthday daisy delight card

I used the 3/4″ circle punch to punch out the centers out of silver glimmer paper.  The background is embossed with the Softly Falling textured folder.   The greeting banner is stamped on a 1″ strip.  The end is die cut using the Banner Triple punch.  I then added basic rhinestones to give it more sparkle.

You’re So Sweet

My popsicle card was inspired by the inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I used So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzaz to create this cool treat.  I decided to use many items from my stash that are retired but there are so many color possibilities and embellishments you can use from your stash to create this card.

Beautiful You with Flourish Thinlits die

Creating this card was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge  and spring.  Spring is here!  I used the Flourish Thinlits die to create the flowers and buds.  I stamped the Hardwood background stamp on Soft Suede with Early Espresso then stamped the greeting from the ‘Beautiful You’ stamp set.  The greeting is embossed with Pool Party embossing powder to make it pop.  I created the flowers and buds with the Flourish Thinlits.  To adhere the different color buds and flowers I used the Fine-tip glue pen.  It’s perfect for applying a small amount of adhesive.

For extra sparkle I added basic rhinestones and colored the flowers and buds with Clear Wink of Stella.  Super easy card .

Difficult to see but I did color the buds and flowers with Wink of Stella.  This card came together very easy.  Be inspired by the challenge and show us your project.

This stamp set is perfect for coloring with Stampin’ Up’s watercolor pencils.  I used a blender pen to blend the watercoloring.  It was so much fun to create this card!
