Lovely as a Tree

My card this week is inspired by the inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  My card is CASED from Dawn Olchefske’s card and reflection technique.  The reflection technique tutorial can also be found on her blog here.  The Lovely as a Tree stamp set is a classic stamp set which is very versatile.  The sentiment is from the stamp set Rose Wonder.

A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way

Inspiration for my card this week comes from Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.  Although, the color Blackberry Bliss is retired you’re welcome to use a color similar like Elegant Eggplant.  I used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set to stamp all the background elements.  I also used the Bitty Butterfly punch to die cut the butterfly.  For sparkle I added basic rhinestones, gold sequins and used Gold Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush on the sunburst, butterfly and Crushed Curry dots.

A Warm Pineapple Hello!

My card this week is inspired by the color challenge of Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Dapper Denim at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  My new pineapple stamp had not been inked and these colors inspired me to use it.  I like the stamp because its large size is perfect for stamping on card fronts.

A Botanical Bloom Thank You

My card this week is inspired by this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.  I love the Botanical Blooms stamp set and framelits because it’s so easy to create beautiful blooms with foliage.  I also used the Rose Garden Thinlits for foliage.   The Bermuda Bay banner is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and creates contrast behind the foliage and flowers.  To create texture I used a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge for the spotted  background and gold sequins.

A Swirly Thank You

This week’s challenge is a color challenge, Night of Navy, Pink Pirouette and Gold.  I created my card using the Swirly Bird Bundle.  This bundle is so much fun!  You can create swirlies in different sizes and it has a great dotted stamp which adds texture.  I used this stamp with gold ink for a background.   Here’s my card inspired by page 152 of the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalog and Idea Book.

I stamped the ‘Thank You’ sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set with Versamark and embossed with gold on to a strip of Whisper Water and cut the edges to create a banner.  I then embellished with gold sequins.  Be inspired by this color challenge and join us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

You are Tea-riffic

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is an inspiration challenge.  The photo of all the citrus inspired me to create this card.

Stampin up A Nice Cuppa card

I embossed the white card base with the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder.  The citrus slices were stamped with the stamp from A Nice Cuppa set then die cut with the 1-1/4″ circle punch.  The cute cup and squiggle was die cut with the Cups and Kettle Framelits from the Have a Cuppa DSP.  I stamped the greeting then die cut with the Artisan Label punch.   This bundle is great and so versatile.

Life is a Beautiful Ride in a Love Bug

My card is based on this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.  I used the stamp set Beautiful Ride to create my card.  I stamped the car image with Momento Black on the heart dsp and fussy cut.  I also stamped the tires on Whisper White and fussy cut then adhered to the car body.  The cute little dog is also from this stamp set.  He looks so cute in the back window.  I stamped the luggage on whisper white and used a blender pen to color and fussy cut then adhered to the heart.

The banners I trimmed with the Triple Banner Punch and stamped the sentiment.  I embellished with Bermuda Bay sequins, rhinestones and ribbon.

Split Top Botanical Garden Box

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge of Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Smokey Slate.  For this challenge I wanted to make something other than a card so I made this split top box inspired by my friend.  I used the Botancial Builder Framelits to create the flowers and leaves.  To make the box go to Splitcoast stampers for a tutorial.

I hope you’re inspired by these colors and will share your project with us.  Go to Hand Stamped Sentiments for more inspiration.

Party Wishes!

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a sketch challenge.  I was also inspired by page 4 of the Occasions Catalog to create this birthday card.  I used the Party Wishes Stamp Set and the Party Punch Pack bundle and Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the ‘It’s My Party’ suite.

I sponged the colors of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Melon Mambo over the embossed portions to create a fun festive background.  I fussy cut the cake and die cut the balloons and candle.

A Mixed and Beautiful Bunch Birthday Card

My card this week is inspired by the color challenge of Blackberry Bliss, Smokey Slate and Pool Party.  I stamped flowers from the Mixed Bunch and Beautiful Bunch stamp sets.  For the leaves I used the Bird Builder punch to die cut them from Blackberry Bliss and Silver Foil paper.  I also used the punch to die cut the bird.  The background is stamped with Smokey Slate using the Hardwood stamp.  I embellished the center of the flowers with basic rhinestones.  The edges of the card is sponged with Blackberry Bliss.
