Gathering Moments and Thankful for You

Fall is coming! However here where I live it’s still in the 90’s but I can still hope for cool mornings. To further get in the fall mood I recently purchased the Gathering Together Suite Collection. I love the large leaf dies and the stamp set. The color challenge of Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger and Pretty Peacock at Hand Stamped Sentiments was perfect for creating a fall card.

The card base is Pretty Peacock, the next layer is also Pretty Peacock and embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. The large leaf is die cut from Timid Tiger. I connected the holes with a Timid Tiger Stampin’ Write Marker then sponged the edge with Timid Tiger. The smaller leaves are stamped in Darling Duckling and Pretty Peacock on Basic Beige and die cut. The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock Classic Ink on Basic Beige and die cut with a die from the Inspiring Imperfections Dies. To add a touch of sparkle I finished with linen thread and Basic Rhinestones.

Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder Thank You Card

It’s September and Fall is coming! The challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a fall inspiration challenge. I recently received the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and had to create this card. I used the carved wood technique from Jennifer Roque. Watch her video for this easy technique. So many color possibilities with this technique.

I used Crushed Curry for the card base and Very Vanilla for the embossed layer. However, I used the debossed side to color. The colors of Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso were used to create the background then with sponge daubers used Crushed Curry to color the petals, Pumpkin Pie for the centers and Spruced Green for the leaves. The sentiment was stamped from the Autumn Leaves stamp set which is now retired. I embellished with linen thread and gold Flower Accents.

Floral Charm Happy Birthday

You can’t have too many birthday cards on -hand or floral stamp sets or dies. The one I used this week is from the Floral Charming Suite. The suite has a stamp set, dies, faceted dots and braided trim.

The card I created with Stampin’ Up Charming Day Bundle is inspired by the color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments of Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Blackberry Bliss. The flowers and foliage are colored with Stampin’ Blends dark and light – Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Blackberry Bliss. The floral images on the Fresh Freesia panel is stamped with Fresh Freesia ink and the sentiment is stamped with Blackberry Bliss. The strip behind the Basic White panel is Pool Party card stock.

Hello Lovely with Florals in Bloom

I love the Florals in Bloom Suite so much I had to create another card with this suite based on Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge. I used page 40 of the Stampin’ Up 2025-2026 to CASE the Lovely card.

The card base is basic white and the card front layer is the Florals in Bloom DSP. The flowers, leaves and ‘lovely’ were die cut using the dies from the suite. The white tag was die cut using the Nested Essentials dies. The card is embellished with 2026-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls.

Inspiring Imperfections

I have just had the opportunity to stamp with the Inspiring Imperfections suite with the colors of Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green. These are the colors for the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge for this week. I stamped the vase with Versamark and heat embossed with gold. I then sponged Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green on the vase. The flowers are stamped in Memento Black then colored with Strawberry Slush and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the gold twigs from gold foil and adhered the shorter one on the vase and the longer one beside it then embellished with gold flower accents.

Happy Birthday with Layers of Beauty

Inspiration for my card this week comes from the the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by the flowers and the pink color palette. I used the Layers of Beauty Bundle to create this birthday card. I used a blending brush and the colors of Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop and Berry Burst for the roses. I started with the lightest color first the proceeded with Bubble Bath and finally Berry Burst. The leaves I used a Olive Garden very lightly the used it again but darker wit the last mask. The roses I die cut then adhered GOLD 1-1/2″ (3.8 CM) OPEN WEAVE TRIM behind it over a layer embossed with Birch Wood 3D Embossing folder. I finished with gold metallic butterflies.

Congratulations Graduate

Summer is kicking off and graduation season is here! I was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge to create this graduation card. This card was super easy and can be modified with different colors. I used blue since this is for my niece graduation from Rice University with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering. Our family is so proud of her. I made this card to send with a gift.

I used Blueberry Bushel, Basic White and Silver Foil paper to create this card. The graduation hat I made along with the diploma and the sentiment is from the Translucent Florals stamp set and the die is from the Mixed Labels die set. I made the graduation cap using the instructions by Crystal Best. I rolled a small strip of copy paper and tied with retired Starry Sky ribbon for the diploma. I’ll be making another card for another niece graduating from Texas A&M. She is a Certified Texas Teacher and is applying to school districts and will also be be actively working on her Master’s of Education in Curriculum from A&M. We’re also happy and proud of her as well. This time I will be using the colors of Maroon and White for her card.

I invite you to join the challenge at Hand Stamped Stamped Sentiments.
