Another Blossom Petals Punch Flower Card

I love that the Blossom Petal Builder card makes so many types of flower.  Lately I’ve been stuck on making flowers with the larger and smaller petals.  I punched 16 of the larger petals and 8 of the smaller ones.  I then punched a 1-3/8″ circle and 1-1/4″ circle from an adhesive sheet to make two stickers.  Punch another 1″ circle from the adhesive sheet.

Use 8 of the larger on the 1-3/8″ circle, space them evenly.  Adhere the other large 8 petals on the 1-1/4″ circle, space them evenly.  Adhere the smaller 8 petals on the 1″ circle.  Use dimensionals to adhere the petal layers.  The larger petal circle is the base, then the 1-1/4″ petal circle followed by the 1″ small petal circle for the center.  I then punched 3 of the larger flowers from the Boho Punch and adhered the 3 flowers with mini glue dots then embellished with pearls.  The sentiment is cut using the Framelit dies and coordinating stamp set, Apothecary Art.

Blossom Petals Punch Flower Card

Hello!  This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a spring inspiration challenge.  Create any type of papercraft project and let spring inspire you.  My card this week is inspired by an article I saw in the Success magazine.  This magazine is for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and is always helpful with showing new projects and techniques.  I saw these Blossom Petals flowers and I thought perfect!  Using the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, I punched 11 of the larger petal and 8 of the small petal from So Saffron card stock.  I used a pencil to curl in the petals.  I punched a square and filled in with double side sticky tape.  I then arranged the large leaves equally then used double side sticky tape for the center petals and arranged them equally also.  The centers are two flowers punched from the Boho punch.  My accent color is Pool Party.  The background is stamped with stamps from the set Nature Walk.  I colored in the bees and the butterflies with So Saffron and Pool Party markers.  The edges are sponged with Pool Party and Early Espresso.

Fashion Inspired Bay Leaf Square Wreath card

Pals Paper Arts has a Fashion Inspiration {Holiday} challenge this week.  The greenery and the red along with the rich tapestry vest I was inspired to create the card below.  I made a bay leaf square wreath for my card.  I used the Petal Blossoms Builder punch and the Bird Punch.  Behind my wreath I embossed a Very Vanilla  panel with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and sponged it with Gold Encore ink.

The base of my wreath is a  square frame then I sponged the edge of the leaves with Always Artichoke ink and used my Simply Scored to score the leaves.  I then glued the leaves all along the frame.  The holly leaves were created using the Bird Builder punch and the berries are pearls colored with a red Sharpie.  I finished my wreath with Real Red Satin Ribbon and an antique brad.  I then stamped my sentiment and embossed it with gold and curled the banner a bit.

Over the Top Pewter Gilded Frame Christmas Card

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is to create an over the top Christmas card.  Inspired by a project I saw in the November Stampin’ SUCCESS magazine I created this over the top pewter gilded frame Christmas Card.

Gilded Frame Over the Top Christmas Card

The embossed snowflake background is heat embossed with Iridescent Embossing Powder.

The frame is die cut using Sizzix Frame die.  I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and inked up the inside of the embossing folder with Versamark then ran it through the Big Shot.  I then heat embossed it with Pewter Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I love how the frame looks antiqued!

I used the Blossom Petals Builder punch to make the white poinsettia.  I used the three narrow petals to create the layers then used the Simply Scored to score the petals then adhered them to a 1″ circle with glue dots.  For some extra sparkle I applied Versamark and heat embossed with Iridescent Embossing Powder. For more shine I used  basic rhinestones for the center of the poinsettia.  The Blossom Petals Builder punch made it so easy!  The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with Iridescent Embossing Powder on a 3/4″ strip of Whisper White card stock.

More basic rhinestones were added to the frame and background to send this card over the top with sparkle.
