Stamp Camp Update!!

I have had many of you ask if there was a way to get the projects from the stamp camp because  can’t attend or stay the entire time, so I aim to please.  Another bonus of those who register (for any of the options) will get access to a PRIVATE Youtube video of each project that you can view in your own home on your own time frame.  You can pause, rewind, replay, or stop it and come back to it later. Flexibility just for you!!  Now you will be able to recreate all the projects created at the camp for future needs for any occasion.

Here are some OTHER camp fee options for you in addition to the regular admission …
note that the fees of these options go up by $10 if you register AFTER 9/23 or pay at the door.
~Early Bird Stamp Camp OPTION $40.00~
You want to come and spend the day making adorable projects that you will be able to recreate and use for all different occasions.  You will get to take advantage of FREE Stampin’ Up! prizes given out ALL DAY and receive a delicious lunch included in your fee.  You will have access to a tutorial video after the event to assist you in making these projects again at home.  Earn tickets for free give aways for making a purchase the day of the camp, registering a friend, making and wearing a creative name tag to the camp, and many more ways as well!!!

Here is your chance, this camp option allows you and your child 11+ to stamp together making (1) one set of projects. The adult camp fee is just $40, and your 11+ counterpart attends for just $20. Each of you are eligible for the ALL DAY give-aways and both receive lunch in your camp fee.

Mom & Me Option $60

~Mom & Me Stamp Camp OPTION 2 – $80.00~
Have FUN stamping with your tween or pre-tween counterpart for an entire day of FREE prizes, amazing projects and great food for BOTH!!! You AND your counterpart will EACH make all the projects offered for the day. You BOTH will be eligible for free give-aways and BOTH receive lunch included in your camp fee.

A Charming Thank You

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we want to be impressed.  Create any project with dry or heat embossing.  For my project I was inspired by a gift from a dear friend.  She brought it over this evening and I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful friend.  I had a different card planned for this week’s challenge but I’ll show you that card for next week’s challenge.

This card I CASED from my upline Tara Bazata.  I basically used the same layout but changed up a few detail.  I used the Charming stamp set which hasn’t seen ink for a few months.  I stamped the medallion and  embossed the background and used torn edges and sponging to the layers to add more texture.

A Golden Fall

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a fall challenge.  The weather here in San Antonio,Texas is still hot but the mornings are cooler and it’s starting to feel like fall weather is getting closer.  I have another fall inspired project created with the Days of Gratitude stamp set.  I wanted to use it in different way so I decided to heat emboss all the images in gold embossing powder.  Here’s my project.

Elegant Wedding Card

This week I was inspired to use a stamp set that I purchased but haven’t used. It’s the new Delicate Doilies stamp set featured in the Idea Book and Catalog. I love the versatility of this stamp set.  You can use this stamp set for almost any occasion.  This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a Clean and Simple Challenge.  I created a card for a wedding.  I inked my doily stamp with Versamark and Basic Black ink then embossed it with Iridescent Embossing Powder then added Basic Rhinestones.  I also embossed the sentiment with Iridescent Embossing powder and added a small rhinestone to the ring.  So easy!  Click on the card image to see more details.

Wishing for Autumn

Here in San Antonio we’ve had record high temperatures.  110 degrees on Sunday!  Unbelievable!  All this heat has made me wish for autumn.  Cooler mornings and days is what everyone in San Antonio is wishing.  I can’t wait.  Later this week the temperature should drop to 90 degrees which will be wonderful.  So much for the weather and on to my project.  Wanting for autumn to arrive I decided this would be my inspiration for this week’s card for Hand Stamped Sentiments Monochromatic Theme Challenge. I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Autumn Splendor to create the leaves for an autumn wreath.  I stamped the leaves with Versamark and Cajun Craze then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  To add more color to the leaves I used my blender pen with Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Calypso Coral.

Playing with Pennants and Banners

This week Hand Stamped Sentiments is having a Banner Bash!  Create any paper craft project using banners or pennants.  I’ve been wanting to use my new Halloween stamp set Howl-o-Ween Creeps so here’s a sneak peek of one of the monster images and sentiments.  This set is so much fun!  I can’t wait to create more Halloween items with this set.  I stamped the Frankenstein image on water color paper then used a blender pen and ink pads to color him.  I punched him out with 1-3/4 inch circle punch and sponged the edges with Basic Black ink.  Since the theme for the challenge is pennants I decided to create one large pennant using the Perfect Pennants die for the front of my card.  I then printed with My Digital Studio the DSP layers.  I used Cast a Spell and the Night Owl Digital kit.  I hope you’re inspired to start thinking about your fall and Halloween projects.  The Howl-o-Ween Creeps stamp set will be available on September 1st.

A Stitched Up Thank You!

We’re in stitches over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  This week’s challenge is to create a project using faux or real stitches.  This challenge was perfect for inspiring me to use my sewing machine.  I needed to create a thank you card for a dear friend so I combined both tasks.

Strength & Hope Class

BTS so soon!

It’s back to school time again! Where did the time go?! This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments the challenge is to create a school themed project. I remembered I had some pictures of my niece’s first day of 2nd grade so I created a matchbook album. This album was so easy to create.

 Ariel Matchbook Album

Step 1: Start with card stock 3-7/8″ x 9-1/4″. Score at 4″ and 8-1/2″ and fold both flaps in so that the long flap tucks under the short flap.

Step 2: Create cards for the inside by cutting card stock into 3-5/8″ x 4-3/8″ pieces. You can make as many as you like, but four or five is recommended. More than five and the book will get a little too full.

Step 3: Adhere photos and embellish!
