H & G Pennant Birthday

H & G because, Hi!, the pennants are a sneak peek of a new stamp set in the NEW Stampin’ Up! CATALOG.  LOVE IT!!! Now you can stamp and punch pennants for any occasion with the Pennant Parade Stamp Set and Petite Pennants Builder Punch.   I can’t show you the stamp set or the punch.  But the stamp set has stamps for almost every occasion.  Love the Petite Pennants Builder Punch because now you can have perfect pennants.  Both of these items will be available to order on July 1st, 2011.  Bye!, because the Love Letter DSP is retiring at the end of the month.  I love this paper.  It was perfect for this card.  Whimsical yet elegant.  Just a reminder that on June 30th many items will retire.  Click HERE to see all the retired items.

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we’re celebrating America’s birthday so I created another explosion box with a cake inside.  I used My Digital Studio to print the inside panels.  I used the instructions from Glitter Adventure to make the box.  The cake was made with the Sizzix Cake, Three Tier 3D (Pop-Up) die.  This die is retiring and now 40% off.  See Accessories under the Last Chance List button on the right.  With this die the cake is so easy to make!  Create a project to celebrate America’s birthday and hop on over to HSS and show us your red, white and blue.

Hand Stamped Sentiments – Color Splash Challenge

It’s a color splash challenge.  Basic Black, Real Red and So Saffron are the bold colors we’re playing with this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I decided for my project this week I would use the Stars #2 Original Die , glitter and My Digital Studio to create a graduation card.  I created the Basic Black grid background and the Real Red grid background with ‘CONGRATS’ on My Digital Studio.  I used the Big Shot and the star die to cut the stars then glittered the Basic Black stars and layered them with the Real Red and So Saffron stars.  A quick and easy card with some bling!  I invite you to post your creation.
