A Bouquet of Flowers for My Wonderful Mother

Since mother’s day is tomorrow, I wanted to post the mother’s day card I made for my aunt who is like my mother.  She has loved and cared for me and my siblings since our mother passed away when we were very young.  She’s always been there for us and are truly blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life.

Stampin up Bouquet Bigz L Die mothers day card

I created the flowers with the Bouquet Bigz L Die.  I followed this video to make these flowers.  I didn’t use the stems part of the video since I adhered the flowers to the card front with a glue gun.  For sparkle, I added Dazzling Details to all the flowers.  To add a touch of vintage I used Typeset DSP paper.  The pretty lace ribbon, Sahara Sand Lace trim is from the Occasions catalog.  So pretty!  The sentiment is from the retired stamp set Delightful Dozen, but you can use any sentiment.  This card would also be a great for birthdays or thinking of you.

Accessories:  Bouquet Bigz L Die, Basic Pearls, Sahara Sand 7/8″ Lace Trim, bone folder, Dazzling Detaiols, Silver Glimmer paper, non-Stampin’ Up glue gun (to adhere flowers)

A Mother’s Day Stampin’ Up! My Digital Studio card

This week’s card is inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Baked Brown Sugar, Tangerine Tango and Coastal Cabana.  I love these colors!  I used a My Digital Studio template to create this card.  It was so easy!

Wonderful You Easel Card

Wonderful you!  This easel card was created using the Label Framelits.  I also used the Paper Doily to create the delicate background  for the large butterfly.  To add some sparkle and texture I used vanilla smooch and embossed with the Vine street embossing folder.  This card would also make a great mother’s day card.

I used the sketch below from Hand Stamped Sentiments which is the next challenge.
