Smile with Daisy Lane

Starting today you can order the NEW Daisy Lane stamp set.  This stamp set has a large daisy which coordinates with the Daisy punch. The medium daisy has a new coordinating Medium Daisy Punch.  The set also contains a beautiful foliage stamp , four greetings, including the Smile greeting, and another flower and stem.  I stamped the small butterfly from the Beauty Abounds set and die cut it with the Butterfly Beauty thinlits.  Did you notice the greeting  on the beautiful stitched die cut.  This stitched die cut is also new and from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies which can also be found in the new catalog.  There are nine shapes in different sizes.  My card is also inspired by the inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

My Digital Studio Friend card and a NEW CATALOG!

I created this card on My Digital Studio for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.  Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding and Blushing Bride.   My digital card was also inspired by a card on page 111 of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog.  YES!  It’s a brand new catalog with so many wonderful products.  You can see the catalog by clicking on the image of the catty on the right side of my blog.

Stampin up my digital friend cardI added a shadow to the banners to give them dimension.  A very easy and fast card.

Wonderful You Easel Card

Wonderful you!  This easel card was created using the Label Framelits.  I also used the Paper Doily to create the delicate background  for the large butterfly.  To add some sparkle and texture I used vanilla smooch and embossed with the Vine street embossing folder.  This card would also make a great mother’s day card.

I used the sketch below from Hand Stamped Sentiments which is the next challenge.

Swallowtail butterfly card Sneak Peek

This week I am excited to share with you a sneak peek of a beautiful stamp from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2013 Spring Catalog.  This stamp is so detailed and the size is fabulous!  It measures approximately 5.50″ wide x 4.25″ high.  The challenge this week on Hand Stamped Sentiments is the -baby wipe technique.  This technique allows you to add many different ink colors to an image.  You can find a tutorial here on SCS.

I used Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink.  I cut out the butterfly with paper snips then sprayed it with Vanilla Smooch Spritz.   The Rich Razzleberry layer was textured with Backgrounds 1 Stampin’ Up! Texturz Plates polka dots.  I also embellished with basic rhinestones.

The sentiment is embossed with Iridescent Embossing Powder over the Melon Mambo.
