Gathering Together and Thankful for You

This week’s inspiration comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge. The inspiration challenge images are totally fall. So many great images to inspire a fall or Halloween card. I was inspired to create a fall card with the Gathering Together Suite Collection. I love this suite! I love the images and the large leaf dies. Here’s the card I created.

The card base is Basic Beige and the embossed Gathering Leaves layer is also Basic Beige. The Gathering Together is die cut with the Perennial Postage dies, the large leaf from retired Bronze foil. You can substitute the current ‘Earthen Toned’ foil sheets. The sentiment was also die cut from the Perennial Postage dies and stamped with the Gathering Moments sentiment. I also stamped the plaid and dots background with Crushed Curry and Peach Pie. I embossed with Old Olive and Early Espresso Linen Thread. I also used the Cajun Craze and Gold Dots to add sparkle.

Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder Thank You Card

It’s September and Fall is coming! The challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a fall inspiration challenge. I recently received the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and had to create this card. I used the carved wood technique from Jennifer Roque. Watch her video for this easy technique. So many color possibilities with this technique.

I used Crushed Curry for the card base and Very Vanilla for the embossed layer. However, I used the debossed side to color. The colors of Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso were used to create the background then with sponge daubers used Crushed Curry to color the petals, Pumpkin Pie for the centers and Spruced Green for the leaves. The sentiment was stamped from the Autumn Leaves stamp set which is now retired. I embellished with linen thread and gold Flower Accents.

Grateful for You with Autumn Expressions

What attracted me to the Autumn Expressions bundle was the beautiful sentiments and the unique dies. I used Basic Beige card stock for the card base and the embossed layer with the Leaf Fall 3d embossing folder. I die cut the leaves and foliage using the coordinating dies. The leaves I sponged with the Hand Stamped challenge colors of Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie. The frame for the sentiment I die cut from gold foil. The sentiment I stamped with Pecan Pie. I embellished with Basic Beige and Peach Pie ribbon. For some sparkle I used Drusly Adhesive-Backed Embellishments.

Stampin’ Up Autumn Leaves Bundle Card Creation

I used Stampin’ Up’s Autumn Leaves bundle to create this autumn card inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiment Inspiration Challenge. The card base is Copper Clay embossed with the DISTRESSED TILE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER, the next layer is Oxidized Paper. The leaves I die cut from Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze and embossed with DISTRESSED TILE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER . The veins were die cut from Oxidized Paper. The sentiment I stamped on Very Vanilla with Copper Clay. I love the dies because included with this bundle are banners for sentiments.

Wishing you the Loveliest Day with Rustic Harvest

Fall is here and the days are cooler! What do you like best about fall? The pumpkins or the leaves?

My card this week is a 4″ x 4″ card CASED from the current mini catalog. The card base is Mango Melody. The Rustic Harvest DSP paper strips I adhered to Basic White card stock. I die cut the pumpkins from Pumpkin Pie and the sentiment from Basic Black. The large brown kraft leaf is from the Rustic Harvest suite. There are 25 leaf labels and 50 amber gems in the package. I stamped the leaf with Early Espresso and the decorative flourish stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set. I finished the card by embellishing with the amber gems and Simply Elegant gold trim.

Hello with Sunflowers

This week my card is inspired by the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. When I saw this sketch I instantly thought of using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and dies. I stamped the sunflower with Cajun Craze on Bumblebee card stock then added white highlights to the petals with a white watercolor pencil. The leaves I stamped with Mossy Meadow on Old Olive card stock. The other foliage I die cut from brushed gold foil. The DSP is from the In Good Taste Design Series Paper. The white frame is die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. The card I then embellished with Brushed Metallic Adhesive dots and Fine Art Ribbon. The ‘Hello’ sentiment is from the Forever Fern stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and Old Olive ink then heat embossed with clear embossing powder then die cut with the Tasteful Label banner die.

This week’s card is clean and simple and inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge. The cute fox from Nature’s Beauty stamp set is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and is from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set. The green layer is Soft Succulent and the card is embellished with Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.

Gather Together Fall card

Fall is finally here!  The weather is cool Halloween is around the corner and Thanksgiving will be here before you know it.  Which along with the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge inspired my card.  The challenge colors are Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee and Night of Navy.  I stamped two 1 inch strips of Night of Navy with images from the Gather Together stamp set then heat embossed with gold.  These I adhered to the Blackberry Bliss card base.  I stamped the Very Vanilla layer then adhered between the Night of Navy strips.  The large leaf images I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with gold then die cut them.  The smaller leafs I die cut then stacked the flowers.  These I stacked on the left then added sprigs die cut with the Sprig punch.  I finished the card with a linen thread bow and clear rhinestones.

Gather Together Around Beautiful Autumn

Autumn is here and was inspired to create this card with the Beautiful Autumn and Gather Together bundles from the holiday mini catalog.  I used the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper with a Cajun Craze card base to create a pocket card with tag.  The leaves I die cut from Gold Foil, Brushed Metallic cardstock, Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze.  On the tag the pumpkins and and texture were stamped with images from the Gather Together bundle.  I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch for the top of the tag then used the ribbons from the Basket Weave and Metallic combo pack.  The inside of the card I stamped with the sentiments and leaves from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set.

My card was also inspired by Hand Stamped sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  There are so many wonderful images.  I was inspired by the pumpkins.  I hope you’re inspired to join Hand Stamped Sentiments and share your card.

A Fox Falling for Leaves

It’s fall and there is so many beautiful colors in the trees and leaves.  Where I live there is also wildlife life deer, bunnies, squirrels, skunks, raccoons, opossum and foxes.  Almost every night I see deer and a fox in our neighborhood.  Leaves, fox and Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge of Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie were my inspiration for my card.

I used the Foxy Friends and Falling for Leaves stamp sets for creating my card.  The coordinating Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies and Fox Builder punch makes it so easy to die cut the leaves and fox.

The Very Vanilla card base was embossed with the Woodland embossing folder..  The leaves were die cut and embellished with retired burlap ribbon.  I also used gold foil for some of the accent leaves and the trim underneath the ribbon which was die cut from the Detailed Leaves Thinleis Dies.
