Deepest Sympathy with Painted Poppies

My card this week is a sympathy card created with the stamp sets Painted Poppies, Peaceful Moments and Heal your Heart. I also created this card for the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Pool Party, Starry Night and Pumpkin Pie.

I started with a Basic White card base and stamped the texture with the stamp from the Painted Poppies set in Starry Night., The Pumpkin Pie die cut poppy is framed with silver foil and layered over Shimmery White card stock. The leaves were die cut from Starry Night and Pool Party. The Shimmery White layer is framed with Pool Party and Starry Night. The inside of the card I stamped with the poppies images from the Painted Poppies and stamped with the sentiment from Sale-a-bration Heal Your Heart set.

Happy Birthday! Let’s Celebrate with Sunflowers

My card this week is inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge. The images are perfect for this time of year. For this challenge the Celebrate with Sunflowers and Sunflower dies were perfect.

Since the sunflower is round I decided to make an easel card. I haven’t made one in a while and thought to make a circle easel card.

I stamped the sunflower with Memento Black on Daffodil Delight card stock. I then used Stampin’ Blends Mango Melody light and dark, Daffodil Delight dark, Calypso Coral light, Crumb Cake light and dark to color the sunflower. I used Patty Bennet’s tutorial for coloring the sunflower.

The base of the easel card is Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight and Basic White. I used the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder to emboss the Basic White and Daffodil Delight. I used the Forever Flourishing dies to die cut the foliage in Shaded Spruce. I used the Sunflower dies to die cut the sunflower and the gold foliage. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and die cut using the Label Me Fancy punch.. I embellished with the Amber Gems. I also used Wink of Stella on the sunflower. This card was a very easy card to make.

Peaceful Moments Friendship card

These are trying times and we are all coping with the help of family, friends and stamping therapy.  During my stamping therapy I created this card with the Peaceful Moments bundle.  The poppy flowers and die cut background were die cut using the Poppy Moments Dies.  The sentiment was stamped using the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  The bright cheerful colors were inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Poppy Parade, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight.
