Sweet Blooms

This week’ color color challenge of Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath at Hand Stamped Sentiments inspired me to create this card with the Floral in Blooms Suite Collection. The flowers are each of the challenge colors, the foliage is die cut from silver foil and the white background is embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. The word bloom is die cut from Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath. The sentiment ‘where you’re planted’ is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. For some added sparkle I used Basic Rhinestones.

Gathering Together and Thankful for You

This week’s inspiration comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge. The inspiration challenge images are totally fall. So many great images to inspire a fall or Halloween card. I was inspired to create a fall card with the Gathering Together Suite Collection. I love this suite! I love the images and the large leaf dies. Here’s the card I created.

The card base is Basic Beige and the embossed Gathering Leaves layer is also Basic Beige. The Gathering Together is die cut with the Perennial Postage dies, the large leaf from retired Bronze foil. You can substitute the current ‘Earthen Toned’ foil sheets. The sentiment was also die cut from the Perennial Postage dies and stamped with the Gathering Moments sentiment. I also stamped the plaid and dots background with Crushed Curry and Peach Pie. I embossed with Old Olive and Early Espresso Linen Thread. I also used the Cajun Craze and Gold Dots to add sparkle.

You’re the Best with Country Flowers

This week my card is inspired by the Stampin’ Up colors of Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat and Blackberry Bliss. I love these colors! I created a simple card with the Stampin’ Up Country Flowers stamp set and dies. I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends pens – Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat and Blackberry Bliss. I colored the container with Smoky Slate. The images I stamped with Memento Black. Then die cut them with the Country Flowers dies.

Hello with Nature’s Prints

My card is based on Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Garden Green, Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink. I used the Bough punch for the foliage in Garden Green, Petal Pink and More Dazzle card stock. The printed background layer if from the Masterfully Made DSP paper pack. The sentiment from Nature’s print is stamped on Vellum with Garden Green and die cut with the Stylish Dies circle die. The foliage is embellished with linen thread and Adhesive backed sequins in Pretty Peacock and white.

Hello Spring with Inspirational Sketches

My spring card was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge. What image inspires you? The flowers inspired me to stamp with the Inspirational Sketches stamp set. I used the Darling Details Dies to create the frame for the flowers and used paper from the Sale-a-bration Flight and Airy DSP paper.

The flowers were stamped with Memento Black then water-colored with Bubble Bath ink, Soft Seafoam and Garden Green. I then fussy cut the flower twice and adhered them with dimensionals to create depth. I also embellished with Wink of Stella and basic rhinestones colored with Bubble Bath and Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends.

I framed the image with the die from Darling Details set. and adhered with dimensionals.

Friend Framed Florets Card

With spring around the corner and inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Fresh Freesia, Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue I created this card with the Framed Florets bundle.

I love the color Fresh Freesia and sad it will be retiring soon. I cased this card from page 65 of the mini catalog. These inspiration colors together were perfect for creating a card with Framed Florets bundle. The card base is Fresh Freesia card stock and stamped the background with Fresh Freesia. I used the gold metallic paper for the frame and added Wink of Stella to the flowers. The inside oval I die cut from Shimmer White and water-colored with Fresh Freesia. The sentiment is stamped in black StazOn.

Nested Friends and Best Friends

Last week I received the Nested Friends Bundle and was so excited to see what I could create with it. This is the card I made with the help of Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge.

I used the Textured Chic Designer Series Paper for background layer. The frame I die cut from gold foil using the Fabulous Frames. I die cut the bird, nest, egg and branch using the Nested Friends Dies. The eggs I die cut from Mint Macaron. The branch and leaves I colored with Stampin’ Blends Mint Macaron Light and Dark,Old Olive Light and Dark and Petal Pink light and Dark. The bird I colored with Petal Pink and Crumb Cake. The images were stamped with Black Memento thlored with the Stampin’ Blends.

Wishing you the Loveliest Day with Rustic Harvest

Fall is here and the days are cooler! What do you like best about fall? The pumpkins or the leaves?

My card this week is a 4″ x 4″ card CASED from the current mini catalog. The card base is Mango Melody. The Rustic Harvest DSP paper strips I adhered to Basic White card stock. I die cut the pumpkins from Pumpkin Pie and the sentiment from Basic Black. The large brown kraft leaf is from the Rustic Harvest suite. There are 25 leaf labels and 50 amber gems in the package. I stamped the leaf with Early Espresso and the decorative flourish stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set. I finished the card by embellishing with the amber gems and Simply Elegant gold trim.

A Splendid Day for Sending Hugs

My card is inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge of Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay.

I used the Stampin’ UP! Splendid Thoughts stamp set and dies to create my card. The background layer I color washed with Bermuda Bay and a water painter. I let dry then stamped with the leaves. I stamped the larger leaves with Black Memento and water colored with Bermuda Bay using a water painter then die cut two of these. I also die cut the open leaf foliage in Rich Razzleberry and Basic White. I also stamped foliage in Calypso Coral then die cut. I arranged the foliage in the middle with glue dots and dimensionals and added gold trim ribbon. I stamped the sentiment then die cut using the stitched half circle from the bundle.

The Beauty of Friendship

My card this week was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiment Inspiration challenge and helpful neighbors. My husband and I are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors. This past weekend our neighbor helped with replacing our patio fan. It really needed to be replaced. We were prepared to call a handy man to replace it but they were here a couple of weeks ago and offered to help in replacing it. I ordered the fan and our neighbor came over to take down the old fan and install the new one. The Inspiration Challenge at HSS has such wonderful outdoor images. The trees inspired me to use my Beauty of Friendship stamp set and Beautiful Trees dies. It’s a one layer card I CASED from Anna Helman. I stamped the trees on to Sahara Sand with Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce. The strip of foliage I stamped with the different greens and Crushed Curry and combined with an embossed strip of Crumb Cake. I used the Timber 3D Embossing folder. Then sentiment I stamped with Shaded Spruce on Basic White then die cut with the rectangle from the Beautiful Trees dies and layered with a layer die cut with the Elegant Tag punch. I embellished the tag with linen thread and Parakeet Party Metallic Woven ribbon.
