I have just now gotten a chance to play with my new Sale-a-bration products – Adorable Owls stamp set and Dainty Flowers DSP. I was inspired to create this card with the sketch challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I used the beautiful watercolor design of the Dainty Flowers DSP for the background and used the flying owl image. I colored the owl with Mossy Meadow light and dark and Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the owl image on Basic White with Memento Black ink. The stitched circle is from retired dies Stitched Shapes Framelits which you can substitute the Stylish Shapes Dies or the Layering Circles with no stitch both these die sets currently in the annual catalog. The Fresh Freesia outer circle was die cut with Layering Circles. I embellished with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon and the Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots. The owl images in this Adorable Owls stamp set are so cute and fun to color.
