Kick-Off Party Post Update

Thank you to my customers that attended the NEW Catalog Kick-Off /Customer Appreciation Party!  A  great time was had by all.  There were lots of giveaways, eats & treats, make-n-takes and a Free copy of Stampin’ Up!’s New Idea & Catalog Book.   I also would like to thank Minnie Cieslak for helping me with my event and her only request for helping me with my party was she wanted to stamp.  Well stamp we did!  I wish I would have taken pictures of my event but sadly I did not.  However here are pictures of the make-n-takes.

I do want to say THANK YOU again to all my stamping friends that were able to make it.  It was so much fun and I truly enjoyed talking and stamping with all of them.  I hope you all had as good of a time as I did.  I can’t wait for next year’s event and I’m looking forward to seeing my stamping friends at upcoming events and classes.

NEW Catalog Kick-Off Party!

Are you ready for this?!  It’s that time again for a NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalog, and along with that I  am having a Catalog Kick-Off Party… I am so excited!!!  Lets get into some details…

This AMAZING event will be held on Saturday July 16th from 5-8PM.  The evening will start off with some great eats & treats.  This night is all about spoiling my customers.   You will have the opportunity to get crafty with make-n-take projects.  Bring your camera because there will be plenty of projects on display for your inspiration.  There will be a Chinese Auction that will give you the chance to win some FREE retired items.

What’s a Chinese Auction?  Each person will receive tickets as they check into the event and those tickets will assist you in winning free stuff.  Each item up for auction will have a bag in front of it, and if you want that item you place a ticket in the bag.  Then at 7:30 pm the auction closes and we draw for the winners of all the items.

What kind of items will be in the auction? There will be lots of items.  Here are a few….retired stamp sets, embellishment items, paper, storage items, ribbon,  and gift certificates just to name a few.

How can I get tickets? You will be able to buy tickets for $0.25 each OR you can earn them for FREE.Here’s how!

GET 2 TICKETS FOR…
*bringing a card or papercraft project to post on the idea display board
*by RSVPing for this event by JULY 9th via email
*for signing up for a class/event (pre-paying to reserve your spot)

GET 5 TICKETS FOR…

*joining a Hostess Club
*by booking a workshop for July, Aug., or Sept.
*by bringing a friend that has not been to any previous event
*for being a previous hostess
*for every $25 order placed that evening (excluding sh/tx)
Things to remember… You will want to bring your calendar to this event so you are able to sign up for classes and select a workshop date that night!  PLEASE RSVP so that I have the proper amount of Make-n-Take projects and food for all.  Oh, I almost forgot the most important part… you get your copy of the NEW Idea Book & Catalog that night.  Here is the list of those who have a catalog set aside for them:

Simple Valentine’s card – Make & Take

I love the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set!  I know I keep saying this but there are so many cute hearts in this set and if you purchase it now Stampin’ Up! will donate $2 from every set sold to the Haitian Relief Fund.  So not only will you get this great stamp set but you’ll be doing your part to make a difference.  Now on to the card…

This is a simple Valentine card I CASED from Kay Kalhoff’s blog.  I love the simplicity of this card.  I didn’t layer as much as she did and I did not have the new Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die  so I used what I had and I think it turned out very cute.  I also stamped the envelope for that extra touch.  I am going to have my group make this card at my next event this weekend.  Thank you for the idea Kay!

Mega Holiday Card Event

Saturday, November 14, 2009 1-4 PM

Come create 30 holiday cards using half of the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin’ Kit. PLUS – participants will also create 12 fun holiday gift tags!

All of this for just $35.

Crafters will follow a simple cutting template and assemble 30 beautiful holiday cards. You’ll also have a choice of several holiday greetings to use to customize your cards just the way you like them!

30 cards not enough? Then request double the supplies and you’ll have extra materials to take home and create at least 30 additional cards. 60 cards is $65.

Participants should bring their favorite adhesive.

Welcome Fall 2009!

Cool weather is here!  This weather sure does beat the 100 degree + days we had just a few weeks ago.  I am so excited for the change in the weather it has inspired me to create cards with a fall theme.  I created the following with SU stamp sets For All You Do and Forest Friends. I love these stamp sets they are so versatile.

I recently had my first SU party with a group of fabulous gals and showed these cards.  I hope these inspire you too and I would love to see your creations.
