Thinking of you with Flowering Fields

Hand Stamped Sentiments is back with a new sketch challenge and I created this card with the new Flowering Fields Suite. The card I created was CASED from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. Making this card was easy since only the sentiment was stamped and all the other elements were die cut using the dies from this suite.

The card base is Pool Party and the second layer is Basic White sponged with Pool Party. The clouds were heat embossed with White Embossing powder. The windmill and flowers were die cut using the dies from the Flowering Fields Suite. The sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set was die cut using the retired Scalloped Oval punch. The Windowpane Check Ribbon is also from the Flowering Fields Suite.

Thinking of you with Seaside Notions

The card I created today is for a friend I haven’t seen and will probably not see her because of social distancing.  I was also inspired by the Inspiration Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  There were so many beautiful images in the challenge image I was inspired to create with the Seaside Notions stamp set.

I used an aqua painter to create the background with Pretty Peacock ink.  The netting is die cut gold foil from the retired Under Sea dies set.  The seahorse I stamped in Pretty Peacock and fussy cut .  I also used an aqua painter to move the ink to lightly color the seahorse.  The leaf I stamped from the Timeless Tropical and die cut with the In the Tropics die on Just Jade paper with Just Jade ink.  The coral I stamped in Pretty Peacock on Vellum then fussy cut.  I also die cut the sprig from Just Jade.  The sentiment I heat embossed with white embossing powder and used the Braided Burlap Trim with linen thread to embellish.
