Stampin' by Genny's Blog

I recently found out one of my dear friends whom I craft with often is moving away.  I’m happy for her but sad she;s leaving.  I created this card to give to her and let her know how important her friendship is to me.   I created this card with products from the Bird Ballad suite and inspired by the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.

I primarily used the colors of Pool Party and Calypso Coral.  I used the Stampin’ Blends to color the bird, flowers and leaves.  I also used the Birds Ballad dsp.  I die cut the layer with the bird image with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and used the decorative edge die on the bottom of the Pool Party layer.  I used pearls and 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Ribbon to embellish.  I used the retired ornate topper punch to create the tag and rounded the corners with retired corner punch.  The card came together pretty quickly.
