Good Morning Magnolia

So many stamp sets, so little time.  This is the first time I use the large magnolia flower stamp from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  The flower looks great not colored or with a little color the way I colored it with Flirty Flamingo.  I also used the Clear Wink Stella on the black center and outlines.  For more color, I also used the spatter stamp from the ‘Beauty Abounds’ stamp set behind the flower.  This is a simple card that can be replicated with different layer colors.  I used Blackberry Bliss for the card base and layered with Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White.

This card is also inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge.

Enjoy your day with Magnolia Lane

The new catalog is out and there are so many fabulous suites .  One of them is the Magnolia Suite.  This suite has a stamp set, Designer Series paper, ribbon, and so much more.  I created the card below with DSP , dies and ribbon from the suite.  I stamped the flowers with Momento Black and colored with Calypso Coral light and Old Olive light blender pens.  The new dies have a border around the image so I colored the edges of the flower with a Basic Black marker.  The sentiment is stamped on Kraft paper and die cut with the Pretty Label punch.  To add sparkle I embellished with Basic Rhinestones and ivory ribbon from the suite.
