Flowering Tulips

This week’s challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge of Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Pumpkin Orange. These colors made me think of tulips so I used the Flowering Tulips bundle to create this card. I also CASED my card from Stephanie Kauffman. It was fun to make the tulips for this card.

After die cutting the tulip flowers I left the die on the cut flowers and sponged color on them then put them together.

I followed Stephanie’s instructions for making the trellis which was made with a square die. Here are the pictures she posted on her FB post on how she made the trellis. What I did to create the trellis was to measure the square die from the retired stitched shapes then I drew the trellis using Illustrator. You can download the PDF .

Go to Hand Stamped Sentiments and see what the the other designers have created.
