Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions

I love seashells and sea life themed stamp sets so I was excited when I saw the Seaside Notions stamp set in the new catalog.  The seahorse image is my favorite.  I stamped the seahorse and sea shells with Momento Black and colored them with watercolor pencils and blender pen.  I used Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight for the seahorse.  The sea shells I colored with Early Espresso, Calypso Coral and Pacific Point watercolor pencils.

The background is embossed with retired Seaside Embossing folder.  I die cut the mesh background from the Under The Sea dies and also die cut a label from the Stitched Nested Labels set.  The greeting is also from the Seaside Notions stamp set.

My card is based on the Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.  There is more inspiration for this challenge from the design team.

  1. I absolutely love this theme, Genny! this is so nicely done with the colorful shells and seahorse against the crisp, white background!
