My card is based on the Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge – Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green. I hadn’t used the Sheltering Tree stamp set since last December and wanted to use it after I saw these colors in the foliage in my back yard. The Japanese maple trees in our backyard have the yellow and green color which you can kind of see on the upper right side of the photo below, The Blueberry Bushel is inspired by the Blue Plumbago flowers. I love these colors together and invite you to create a project for this color challenge. I first stamped the trunks with Early Espresso then stamped the foliage using my Stamparatus.
The sentiment is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set and stamped in Blueberry Bushel and sponged with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green and punched with the 1-1/4″ circle punch. I sponged some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon with Daffodil Delight and used some linen twine for underneath the sentiment.
