This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a sketch challenge from the Success May issue.  This magazine is free when you become a demonstrator.  It offers tips and advice on how to run your Stampin’ Up! business and shows wonderful project ideas.  Here is the sketch and my project for this week’s challenge.  I used my Embosslits Die Beautiful Wings, item#118138.  It’s a carryover from the Spring mini catalog.  This die is wonderful because it die cuts and embosses at the same time.  I also used the Scallop Trim corner and border punches.  There’s a very informative video from Stampmonkey and her blog also gives measurements for creating squares and rectangles with these two punches.

Ink: Sponged edges of scallop trim rectangle with Bashful Blue classic ink, used Chocolate Chip classic ink for ‘THANKS’ sentiment

Accessories: Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, dimensionals, Scallop trim corner and border punches, Scallop Square punch
