LOVE the Magical Mermaid stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This is one of the new stamp sets in the annual catalog. I CASED my card from the catalog and used the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge of Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape and Night of Navy to create my card.
I sponged Night of Navy on Very Vanilla to create the water then stamped foliage from the Magical Mermaid and Sea of Textures stamp set. The mermaid is stamped with Momento Black then colored with watercolor pencils. The coral and starfish are die cut from the Under the Sea Framelits. I used Clear Wink of Stella on the mermaid and the water to give it a magical shimmery quality. The greeting I die cut using retired Decorative Label punch. The sand is embellished with pearls and retired Tutti Frutti adhesive sequins.
