Lately I’ve been using my sponge brushes to practice using them. I found a technique from Patty Bennett of using the blending brushes on stamps to create a blending of colors. I CASED her card using the stamp set Flowing flowers since I had not had an opportunity to use it. I was also inspired by the colors of the inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I embossed Bermuda Bay with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. The white layer I die cut with second largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours. The flower images were sponged brushed with Polished Pink and Pale Papaya. The leaves were sponged with Granny Apple Green. To finish the card I used Wink of Stella an embellished with retired 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon in Soft Succulent.
