You’re Absolutely Amazing

The card I created this week is CASED from a card featured on page 98 of the new Annual Catalog using the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge colors of – Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party and Bumblebee.  Not only does the Annual Catalog feature wonderful products but also a variety of projects showing how the stamps, dies and embellishments may be used.

For the background I embossed a Whisper White layer with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder then sponged Bumblebee ink.  I also die cut two strips of Whisper White with the scallop die.  I stamped the outline of the flower full strength then stamped stamped off for stamping the inside of the flower.  The sentiment is also from the stamp set and stamped in Flirty Flamingo and die cut with coordinating die.

The leaves I stamped  in Momento black then die cut them with the die.  The one leaf on the left is stamped then fussy cut.  For embellishments I used the Gold Gilded Gems and Gold Fine Art ribbon.

A Fitting Florets Christmas Card

There are two stamp sets, dies, paper and embellishments in Fitting Florets collection. I used the Soft Succulent as my card base then used a Cherry Cobbler layer followed by the DSP. For the frame and sprigs I die cut using the Bough Punch and Fitting Florests die from the frame out of the Distressed Gold paper. I love how the gold looks antiqued. The greeting I heat embossed with gold then colored the buds on the sprigs with Cherry Cobble blends. For embellishing I added a bow of retired 1/2″ Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and retired Cherry Cobbler rhinestones from the Holiday Basic Jewels.

Perched in a Tree for Christmas

My card this week is inspired by the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I used the Perched in a Tree stamps and die set to create my card. I used Night of Navy for my card base, retired Rings of Love dsp and Basic White.

Wishing you the Loveliest Day with Rustic Harvest

My Stampin’ Up Hello Harvest card this week is a 4″ x 4″. The card base is Mango Melody. The Rustic Harvest DSP paper strips I adhered to Basic White card stock. I die cut the pumpkins from Pumpkin Pie and the sentiment from Basic Black. The large brown kraft leaf is from the Rustic Harvest suite. There are 25 leaf labels and 50 amber gems in the package. I stamped the leaf with Early Espresso and the decorative flourish stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set. I embellished with the amber gems and Simply Elegant gold trim.
