This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a color blocking technique challenge. Color blocking can be achieved by using blocks of color. You can create this technique with ink and stamps or with paper and dies. My color blocking technique is achieved with die cut flowers made with the Blossom punch and stamped with the Mixed Bunch stamp set. I wanted to focus on color so I made a clean and simple card with a Whisper White card base and layer. Each flower is embellished with a rhinestone. The flowers are stamped tone on tone.
I hope you’re inspired to join us this week at HHS and show us how you use this wonderful technique.

This card is beautiful and the tone-on-tone is so sophisticated! I was just surfing the internet for inspiration and came across your blog and thought I’d tell you how beautiful they are. I make cards for our troops stationed across the globe through Operation Write Home and enjoy checking out card maker blogs from time to time.
