Spooky Among The Branches

My card this week is inspired by the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.  I created my card with Among the Branches Stamp Set and Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder bundle.  My card was also inspired by the card on page 39 of the Holiday mini catalog.

Stampin Up Halloween card

I embossed Basic Gray card stock with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and stamped the bird and eye images.  I also used a Spider Web doily.  I stamped the greeting with Pumpkin Pie and adhered to the center of the doily web with dimensionals.  For added sparkle I spread Dazzking Details allover the background.  I also added basic rhinestones to the edges of the doily.

We’d love to see how this sketch inspires you.  Go to Hand Stamped Sentiments to see more inspiration!

Creating Wicked Cool Halloween Memories

I’ve recently started to get back to my scrap booking.  I created these Halloween layouts for my last workshop’s make and take projects and my guests had a lot of fun creating them.  I had them create the SPOOKY page and I showed the BOO! page as a companion page.  These were a lot of fun create so maybe now I can print all those great Halloween pictures of my friends and complete my Halloween scrap books.  LOL

A Haunted Spooky Dresser

I’ve become addicted to creating spooky dressers.  In my previous post I created a witch in the dresser.  Today I created a haunted dresser.  I love the Wicked Cool stamp set and Two-step Owl punch.  The punch is so versatile.  You can create penguins, witch owls, tulips bats and ghosts.  For this card I created the bat and ghosts from the owl punch.  The bat tutorial comes from Bonnie Mountford’s blog. I got the idea for the ghosts from Diane Carr.     See my previous post to link to Jackie Topa’s dresser tutorial and for Patti Lee’s blog link.

I have also submitted my card for the PPA60 Halloween Inspiration challenge.  Stop by and take a look at all the fabulous Halloween cards.
